Ingredients:

  • 4 medium apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions:
