Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 servings ramen noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chili oil (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, then cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into circles. Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming round dumplings.
  5. Steam the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper for about 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. To serve, place a serving of ramen noodles on a plate, top with steamed dumplings, and drizzle with chili oil if desired.
