Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup cooked ramen noodles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dipping sauce (soy sauce mixed with rice vinegar and chili oil)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and water to form a smooth dough. Knead for 5-7 minutes until elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cooked ramen noodles, cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then pinch the edges to seal tightly. You can also pleat the edges for a decorative look.
  5. Prepare a steamer and line it with parchment paper. Place the dumplings in the steamer, making sure they do not touch each other.
  6. Steam the dumplings for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is translucent and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with a dipping sauce on the side.
