Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 cup Olive Garden Italian dressing
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, marinate the pork chops in Olive Garden Italian dressing for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  2. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the pork chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the rice and sauté for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked through and liquid is absorbed.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve the grilled pork chops alongside the herbed rice, drizzling any remaining marinade over the top for added flavor.
