Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Nando's peri peri sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, cayenne pepper, red chili powder, sriracha sauce, and Nando's peri peri sauce until well combined.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs and pour the sauce mixture over them, making sure they are well coated.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
