Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a medium pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
