Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
  • Cacao nibs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
  2. Add the raw cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, almond milk, and a pinch of sea salt to the food processor.
  3. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup.
  5. Spoon the mousse into individual serving bowls or glasses.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
